StudentOps is a personal portfolio project. There is no warranty of any kind. The code is released under MIT and you should expect bugs.

AI outputs

The reading summariser, the flashcard generator, and the citation suggester are powered by Anthropic’s Claude. They are study aids. They are not a substitute for reading source material.

Always verify a claim against the original paper before quoting it in any submitted work.
Citation suggester rejects every DOI that does not resolve via OpenAlex or CrossRef, so it never invents references. The mapping between draft text and citation is still your responsibility to check.
Flashcards can be wrong. Treat them as a starting point for spaced repetition, not a source of truth.

Academic integrity

You are responsible for complying with your own institution’s academic integrity policy. Some universities classify AI-generated text as a breach unless explicitly permitted; some require disclosure; some allow it freely.

Never paste an AI summary into work that is meant to be your own analysis.

If in doubt, ask your course coordinator before using these outputs in submitted work.

Data

StudentOps is single-tenant. The deployed instance at app.vikrant69g.com is meant for one user (me). If you fork and deploy it for yourself, you are operating your own copy; my deployment never contains your data.
